Working with the Australian Business Register, Inklab created a series of mini animations to provide to succinctly show which businesses are eligible to use an ABN and maintain accuracy of ABR data.
The introduction of new streamlined processes for the Australian Business Register have been developed to improve and maximise the government’s quality of data and also ensure compliance for only eligible businesses. Since not everyone need or is entitled to an ABN, the challenge was to highlight and educate business owners via a series of short videos about the new online entitlement tool and how it will help applicants save time, and determine their eligibility in a simple-to-use process.
To educate eligible businesses and maintain high-level data for the Australian Business Register we created a series of short 60 second animations to promote a clear message, list the benefits of updated processes which are backed up with a combination of simple characters, infographic and an illustrative approach. Our involvement included the script and initial storyboard, through to illustration and animation. The animations form the ongoing web and internal content for the ABR & ATO to help promote and educate, and have been integral in showing data-heavy content in an engaging way.
