Located in Canberra’s inner-south, Locale blends a traditional Italian dining experience and the simple corner takeaway with a hint of sophistication.
Locale’s intimate space gives you a warm hug the moment you set foot in the door. Although a casual dining experience, the service and presentation is as serious as the traditional hand-made italian food. A simple corner restaurant and take-away, you feel like you’ve got the best of both worlds; as Locale specialise in pasta and wood fired pizzas that are truly ‘made with love’.
Create a simple and sophisticated identity that reflects the Italian heritage. The result is a loose, hand-drawn script which complements the blend of bar, restaurant and takeaway. The identity is carried across stationery, packaging, digital and a custom-made Cafe Racer in tan, brown & leather. Our photo-shoot direction explored the theme of discovery by motorbike in the local region (with a nod to the Italian alps).
