Challenge

Following the success of the previous season’s record membership numbers, the challenge was to build on the on-field success for the Canberra Raiders and translate this success into membership sales, leads and grow the team’s social presence. 

Solution

The ‘We Are Raiders 2017’ Marketing campaign builds on the concept that ‘We Are ALL Raiders’; players, supporters, members and the wider community. The clean visual language combined with pattern, bold colour and a variety of typographic solutions offered flexibility and consistency. The creative works across a wide range of marketing applications such as; website, social media, membership packs, merchandise, billboards, membership drive and mailouts, email templates, posters, ticketing and match day event material.

Through a combination of marketing, membership and marketing initiatives the official member tally stands at 19,091, building on their already previous season’s record of 15,239.

Social media engagement

For 2017 we created a range of social media assets to provide the Raiders a broad range of templates for key milestones, member news, scores, player profiles, events and many more which provide a great variety of on-brand content to combine with photography and video throughout social profiles. Each of the mini activations directly support the overarching Season campaign for #weareraiders hashtag, and directs people to the membership website.
